The fountain of wealth at the suntec city is a result of someone's creativity. However, this creativity could have been inspired by some objects in life. The structure resembles a four legged bronze incense burner that is used for worship at temples. It is believed that burning incense would allow their wishes and hopes would be heard by the gods in heaven as the thoughts of the devotees would follow the incense smoke up to the heavens. The designer probably based the design of the fountain on this object of worship. In the photos, you can see people at the centre of the fountain making wishes as they touch the water that comes out of the fountain.
