elizabeth gilbert ted talk

she talks about getting famous after her book become best seller and the fear that comes with it. the fear of not being able to meet up with the expectations of others and herself because of the present success. we need to separate our anxiety of not knowing the future of creative career with the process of creating works. she speaks of the genius not being the creative individual but being a separate intangible entity. in that way, if the creative individual does not exceed his or her previous achievements, responsibility does not lie on her alone. i agree with what she is saying to a great extent. creative ideas do not come when we want them to come. ideas do not come into our heads on a daily basis. to be honest, i feel one photo a day assignment is forcing us to be "creative". i really feel that i have to come up with something for that day even if i have totally nothing to say and it feels kind of depressing. i am pressured to be creative when creativity is not a consistent thing that happens on a daily basis.
